Located on the scenic Potomac shore, Algonkian Regional Park is the perfect place for an afternoon of fun in the sun, a family vacation or even your wedding. The park includes Downpour! (a large swimming pool and aquatics play complex), a par-72 golf course, miniature golf, trails, a boat launch, picnic shelters, vacation cottages, and a versatile meeting center. Park opens all year. Golf course open all year, weather permitting. Pool opens Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Mini golf opens April through October. Hours vary.

Lodge at Little Seneca Creek

Surrounded by 26 acres of scenic, wooded parkland, The Lodge at Little Seneca Creek is Mother Nature's ultimate meeting place. This rustic log cabin with its natural wood cathedral ceilings and massive, wood-burning flagstone fireplace is an ideal setting for a business retreat or social gathering.

As many as 120 guests can enjoy a seated dinner followed by dancing in the one-room lodge, and up to 175 can sit comfortably theater-style for a seminar or business presentation.

Your guests will enjoy breathtaking views of the expansive lawn and surrounding woods from the Lodge's two large exterior wooden decks. With plenty of room for tents and recreational activities, The Lodge accommodates outdoor events for as many as 300 people.

The Lodge at Little Seneca Creek offers air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, and a catering kitchen. Business and social gatherings can take advantage of the facility's Internet access and the availability of a variety of meeting equipment, including a projection screen. The entire facility is also handicapped accessible.

Pavilion at Reston Town Center

Equity Office's open-air pavilion offers yearlong events, including a free summer concert series, Taste of the Town, Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival and seasonal ice-skating. This unique outdoor facility is available to rent from April through mid-October for catered parties and dinners, business meetings, fundraisers, product launches and many other functions. The pavilion features a steel and aluminum frame with a beautiful barrel-vaulted glass roof, house lighting and a full sound system.

You can have your reception, meeting or party at one of RCC's two attractive facilities. RCC Lake Anne and RCC Hunters Woods provide an ideal location, with a variety of small to large meeting rooms, a Community Room, and even an art gallery!

National Building Museum

Make your event part of history . Since the 1885 Inaugural Ball of President Grover Cleveland, the Great Hall of the Museum's historic home has been the scene of some of Washington 's most elegant and exciting events. The tradition continues today. The Great Hall is available for evening rental seven days a week, serving a distinguished clientele of corporations, associations, foundations and individuals. Here the splendor of a grand, nineteenth-century setting is combined with modern convenience and flexibility. The three adjoining courts that make up the Great Hall may be used either individually or together, allowing the Museum to accommodate seated dinners and receptions for groups of 200 to 2,000.
