Belmont Estate

We invite you to consider the Gari Melchers Home and Studio as the setting for your wedding or next group event. The stunning Studio Pavilion at Belmont, situated in an elegant woodland setting, is connected to the artist's original studio building and opens onto the estate's gardens. The Pavilion includes an event room with banquet seating for up to 100 and can accommodate stand-up receptions for up to 150 and presentation seating for 200. The main estate lawn and flower gardens, including a charming summer house overlooking the Rappahannock River , are available for wedding ceremonies.

Brookside Gardens

Where dreams come true, the award-winning Brookside Gardens is one of Montgomery County's most picturesque locations for garden weddings.

From April through October, groups as large as 250 enjoy the Gardens' shimmering ponds, romantic gazebos, colorful gardens, and green lawn expanses for celebrations of all kinds.

Brookside Gardens also offers an ideal setting for various indoor events that take place year-round in your choice of venues including classrooms, the Conservatory and the contemporary Reception Hall. The Hall, with its panoramic view of the regularly changing, spectacular garden displays, is an ideal location for both standing receptions for as many as 175 guests or seated dinners serving 125 guests. The Conservatory provides a lush tropical escape, perfect for a light buffet or reception. Brookside 's classrooms are available for small meetings or training sessions for a maximum group of 50.

Carlyle House

Carlyle House is located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria —only two blocks from the majestic Potomac River and within minutes of Old Town's many specialty shops and antique stores.

• Carlyle House is available for late afternoon and evening rentals April 1 through October 31.

• Events take place on the tented Magnolia Terrace overlooking the lovely gardens and the 18th-century style summerhouse. The mansion is open for tours during your function.

Chrysalis Winery

Jenni's Pavilion and Barbecue Pit. The perfect place for a barbeque! Rental of this space includes the exclusive use of one of our eight-burner gas barbeques and side burner, located immediately adjacent to the covered pavilion. Enjoy views of the vineyards from this idyllic spot.

Sarah's Patio. Sarah's Patio offers the convenience of the Tasting Room and barbecue, in a private atmosphere. A short walk from the winery, this site is the ideal central location for all vineyard activities.

Corcoran Gallery of Art

Located in the heart of monumental Washington , the Corcoran is within close proximity of the best hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions.

As we only accommodate one event per evening, guests have exclusive access to our permanent collection and special exhibitions. Docent services can be arranged to enhance the museum experience.

The Corcoran has in-house audio/visual capabilities as well as professional operations and security personnel to guarantee a flawless evening.

We can accommodate up to 400 guests for a seated dinner and up to 1,000 for a standing reception.

Dumbarton House

Dumbarton House provides an intimate, historic setting for events ranging from small corporate meetings, luncheons or conferences, to elegant wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners or teas. The museum rooms of the house are always open at events, providing your guests with a unique opportunity for casual touring of the museum.

While rental for events allows you use of the entire building and grounds, dinners and receptions are generally held in the Belle Vue Room and our outdoor gardens and terraces. The Belle Vue Room is an elegant modern banquet space with light wood-paneled floors, walls paneled in pale yellow fabric, and thirteen foot white coffered ceilings. The banquet space is also adjoined by a beautiful courtyard area that can be tented to provide additional dining space.

Evermay

Welcome to Evermay - a private, historic Federal-period home built in 1801 and uniquely suitable for intimate gatherings and special occasions, a sanctuary located at the heart of our Nation's capital.

The first floor consists of the vaulted "Orangery", and the drawing and dining rooms. There is a small kitchenette off the Orangery, and a larger kitchen/butler's pantry off the dining room for use by caterers. The second floor offers three breakout rooms for meeting events or wedding preparations. There are four restrooms available to guests, three on the second floor and one on the first floor. All spaces on the first floor are WHEELCHAIR accessible.

Middleburg Community Center

You are welcome in Middleburg. Standing in the heart of this unique small town, our elegant Georgian building is available to those who wish to share in a Middleburg Tradition.

Middleburg is located on Route 50 in the heart of the Virginia hunt country.  It is approximately 45 miles west of Washington, D.C., 25 miles west of Dulles International Airport, 35 miles east of Winchester, 20 miles south of Leesburg and 25 miles north of Warrenton.

The Middleburg Community Center is located two blocks west of the traffic light on the right.

Oatlands Plantation

From the grand entrance of a historic mansion you proceed to the beautiful four-acre walled garden. Your bridal procession walks through this picturesque setting as musicians play in a charming garden teahouse and your guests anticipate your arrival. If this describes your "dream wedding," then Oatlands is the perfect location for your special day!

Weddings and receptions at Oatlands are evening outdoor events. They may be held any day of the week from 5:30 to 10:30 pm, May through October. We can accommodate up to 250 guests, with most ceremonies being held in the South Garden . After the exchange of vows, guests can enjoy cocktails in the garden or visit the Greek Revival mansion while wedding photographs are being taken. Our garden, grounds and historic buildings provide wonderful backdrops to help capture the magic of this important occasion. Dinner and dancing take place under a tent on the front lawn of the mansion. (With smaller weddings, additional locations can be considered, including the Carriage House, which seats 80.)

Oxon Hill Manor

With its formal English gardens, rose bush-wrapped reflecting pool and stunning views of the Potomac River, the picturesque Oxon Hill Manor is an ideal setting for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The elegant interior of this stately manor accented by wood floors, crystal chandeliers, and exquisite architectural appointments is also ideal for corporate receptions, seminars, holiday parties and other special occasion events. The Manor features a grand marble foyer, drawing room, study, dining room, bride's dressing room and a caterers' kitchen.

The main event rooms in the house all lead to a wrap-around terrace through large French doors. An 80' x 100' brick patio with a fountain can be tented for events. The facility offers ample parking, tables and chairs and wheelchair accessibility. Licensed and insured caterers are accepted.

USS Sequoia - The Presidential Yacht Sequoia Foundation

Yacht Length & Capacity
104' length, 18' width, 4-1/2' draft.  Coast Guard limits the number of guests to 49 (plus 3 catering personnel and 4 crew).  Groups in excess of 49 (i) often schedule multiple times for boarding, including multiple cruises, and/or (ii) install a tent above the large adjacent dock.

Dining
The original mahogany dining room table can accommodate 22 (as it did for JFK's last birthday) for an elegant sit-down meal.  An extra table can be placed in the aft salon to accommodate another six diners (as it did for a Vice President Cheney dinner cruise).  The yacht accommodates 49 easily for a buffet (as it did for a Soviet Premier Gorbachev brunch cruise).

Merriweather Manor

Women's Memorial

The Women's Memorial, one of the area's newest and most stunning event venues, is ready to make your event truly extraordinary. This landmark location with its panoramic view of Washington, DC, is less than one mile from the Lincoln Memorial and situated at the Ceremonial Entrance to Arlington National Cemetery.

The Memorial, with its 33,000 square foot education center, can accommodate events of all sizes from weddings and receptions, galas and corporate functions to promotions and retirement ceremonies.
